Ingredients:
- light beer – 100ml
- egg – just 1
- some pepper
- wheat flour – 1 cup
- a little salt

Using a bowl (cereal bowl is fine), add all of the ingredients. Mix it all for a couple of minutes, evening out any chunks of flour and ensuring the batter ends up not too thick and not too thin: it’s best if it’s somewhere in the middle, so if it turns out a little to think, then add some more flour to it and mix; or if too thick, then add a little more beer and mix.
